Programming
The Middlesex Sheriff's Office places an extremely high priority on programming for those in custody. Upon commitment to the House of Correction, sentenced individuals undergo an assessment that measures the risk and need factors of the individual. A plan is then formulated to help the individual prepare for re-entry by providing a roadmap for them to address the underlying issues (substance use disorders, education, social circle, employment, mental health, etc.) that led to their incarceration.
